The Physics club organized a visit to the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) on 1st March 2019. This visit provided an opportunity for the students to learn about the various advancements that BARC has made in the field of nuclear reactor science and engineering. During the visit, the students were able to see various processing plants, including Dhruv and Cyrus Reactors, Indian supercomputer, and van de graaff generator. The visit was very informative, and the students were able to gain first-hand knowledge about the latest technologies used in nuclear reactor science and engineering. Overall, the BARC visit was an excellent learning experience for the students and helped them to broaden their understanding of the field.
