Official Inauguration of DBIT Physics Club
The official inauguration of the DBIT Physics Club was held on March 3, 2015, at Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT). The event was graced by Dr. Satyanarayna Bheesette from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), who inaugurated the club. Shivam C. Mishra (SE-IT) gave the inauguration speech, welcoming everyone to the event.
The event was marked by demonstrations by the members of the DBIT Physics Club. Balaji Dontha (SE-EXTC) demonstrated the Hall Effect sensor and infrared proximity sensor to the first-year students of DBIT. He explained the working model of the sensors in great detail, and the students were able to understand the practical application of the theories they had learned in the classroom.
Pushkaraj Karve (SE-MECH) demonstrated magnetic levitation, which was another interesting application of the principles of physics. The students were amazed by the demonstration, and it sparked their curiosity to learn more about the practical applications of physics.
Avil Correa (SE-MECHA) gave a lecture on the basics of cosmology and relativity. He covered topics such as the creation of the universe, the four fundamental forces, and the special theory of relativity. The lecture was aimed at the first-year students of DBIT, and they were able to gain a deeper understanding of the concepts of cosmology and relativity.
